Mitos Pharmaceuticals is an early-stage, research and development company engaged in the development and commercialization of a new proprietary class of antioxidant compounds that prevent oxidative damage of human tissue.
Our lead compound, Tempol, has recently concluded a phase II trial for the protection of cancer patients against radiation-induced alopecia during whole brain radiation. Tempol is currently in Phase II trial for the protection of at-risk cancer patients of radiation induced skin toxicities.
Mitos is committed to improving the quality of life of cancer patients and it is currently in the planning stages of Phase III studies for these indications. Other Phase II studies are in the planning stages and Mitos is working with its researchers on discovering new disease applications for the prevention and reduction of oxidative stress in human tissue.
